Take refuge in a cozy Vermont log cabin with abundant access to what Vermont's Green Mountains have to offer. Beautiful views, woods with private hiking trails, wild bird sounds, pond for swimming with ducks and plenty of amphibean choruses to name just a few! Each cabin has a private access and is situated on it's own private site. You have your own place in the middle of Vermont with enough space to stretch out and unwind while enjoying the privacy our cabins provide. Inside each cabin there is a loft bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase. Downstairs is a full kitchen with appliances, dishes, and utensils. There is a large bathroom w/shower. The living room has a dinette set, love seat, chair, TV w/satellite and DVD player. A gas fireplace provides heat as well as ambiance. Star gaze in the huge night sky far away from city lights on your covered porch or by campfire. All linens and housewares provided. All you need to bring is your food and clothes. Each of the Twin Cabins are decorated in whimsical decor and provide a stand alone destination for a week end or weeks. The "East" cabin sits on the pond, is pet friendly, and sleeps 2. The "West" cabin overlooks the pond, has longer range views, and sleeps 3 with a pull out.

You can hike, snowshoe, cross country ski right from your doorstep. Relax and soak in the calmness as you sit on your porch. Toast marshmallows by your campfire at night. The White River is 1 mile away for tubing or swimming. In town there are several restaurants, a co-op, a convenience store for groceries and prepared foods, wine, beer, etc. Town is also home to Vermont Law School.
Smoking is not allowed inside the cabins. Pets are considered in the East cabin for an additional pet fee.

Regular rates are $190/night with a 2 night minimum. Stay 6-7 nights for $1050. Extra charge for 3rd person. One night stays are considered at premium rate. Premium rates are $220/night, $1200 for 6-7 nights. Premium rates apply during Holiday times, VLS graduation, Foliage. For all rates add 9% VT rooms tax.
A 50% deposit by check or money order is required to reserve by mail, made out and sent to Vermont Twin Cabins, 195 Deerhaven Lane, South Royalton, VT 05068. If you prefer paying by credit card you may do so by booking through one of our listings on airbnb or flipkey/tripadvisor for additional site fees to them.
Deposits made by mail will be refunded in full (less $25) if cancelled 15 days or more before your reservation. Less than 15 days, deposit is forfeited. If booking on-line, cancellation policy is associated with that site.
From the south: Take exit 2 off of 89N. Take left then a right onto Route 14. continue 5.3 miles, go through junction of 110 and 14 and take 1st right onto Happy Hollow Rd.
From the north: Take exit 3 off of 89S. Take a left and then a right onto Route 14. go 3 miles and take left onto Happy Hollow Rd.
From Happy Hollow Rd: Go .6 miles and take right onto Deerhaven Lane. Follow that road up and around toward the back of the property. Don't take any turns off that road and you'll come to sign that directs you to "check in" to pick up your keys.
